Mingle & Count: A Game of Number Sense

In this 5-minute video Barbara McCormick demonstrates an activity that helps her Kindergarten students develop number sense. Students mingle and, on the teacher's signal, form themselves into groups of a given number. This active experience with equal groups helps build the foundation for multiplication and division with remainders. A sidebar provides reflection questions for viewers.
