CPALMS Computer Science

The Computer Science collection of lessons includes computer science concepts integrated with math and/or science content. The lessons are designed for math, science, or STEM teachers to use seamlessly address math, science, and computer science standards in their classroom. To provide comprehensive coverage of concepts, lessons are grouped into units of study. The units incorporate skills based on algorithmic math and science processes and culminate in the use of coding to highlight the students’ math and/or science knowledge. The units utilize the CPALMS Code app (http://code.cpalms.org), which integrates the Scratch platform, to introduce programming. Some of these lessons require having the Mantis sensors (http://www.mantisedu.io). The number of lessons is continually growing, and all published lessons are available in the list below.

Please note that accessing these lessons is limited to participating schools/teachers and you need to be logged in to your CPALMS account to access these resources.
