The video explains what the class will do throughout a wet lab and then describes how students will model molecules and chemical equations with LEGO bricks. Preconceptions of chemical reactions are explored through a class discussion. Several shared ideas will be written on the board for class record. Finally, lab safety is reviewed in terms of this classroom and this experiment. Methods of observation and chemical handling are especially detailed. The worksheets that go with the lesson can be found under the tab "For Teachers". An explanation for the teacher is at the end of the video, after the last break.
