Light Dancing Images:

In this lesson, the students will create a light dance painting based on student choreographed movements using glow sticks (or other light sources).  The image created will be a still photo of the entire 30-45 second dance.  Students will then analyze their work based upon the elements and principles of dance and make adjustments as needed to create the most dynamic image possible.  Students will then complete another light dance painting and compare the two images.
