CPALMS provides tools and a process for educators to share instructional and educational Resource. All Resource are submitted via online submission system and are rigorously reviewed by other educators and content specialists. Some of the key benefits to submit Resource to CPALMS are: 1) your resource will be reviewed by peer educators and subject area experts who will provide you feedback to improve your resource; 2) share Resource with everyone else; and 3) your name shows as the contributor and/or author.Who is submitting to CPALMS?
- Florida's educators
- Educators from across the country
- Higher education faculty and universities from within and outside of Florida
- Non-profit and for profit organizations
- Projects and grantees utilizing CPALMS as their platform
As of end of September 2012, more than 8,000 Resource have been submitted to CPALMS. While not all these are published yet, more than 2,150 have completed the review process and were approved. Lesson plans are the biggest category of Resource but CPALMS include many other types such as: 1) instructional unity plans; 2) lesson plans; 3) virtual manipulatives and games; 4) data sets; 5) professional development; etc...

How to Find Resource on CPALMS?
There are several ways to find or interact with Resource on CPALMS. We will describe the main three ways:
Standard and Course Preview Pages
All the resource on CPALMS have been aligned to specific standard(s). You can simply find related Resource on the different benchmark/standard pages. All the reviewed and approved Resource automatically show on the different and related benchmark/standards as soon as they are publish. You can also find the standards and Resource by starting with the course description. This is by far the most common method.
To get started, simply click on the "Standards Info. & Resource" button on top and find the standard(s) you are interested in to view the related Resource.
You can do the same but find the standards and resource by course. In order to do that, click on the "Course Descriptions & Directory" to get started.

Keyword Search/Browsing of Resource
Users can also search for instructional and educational Resource by useing the browse or keyword search tools on the website. When using the keyword search, you can type keywords or leave the search box completely empty. You can also use the filter options (e.g., lesson plan, grade 5, etc.) to refine and restrict the search results.
While this is theh least used method, it is a helpful method to find particular Resource of a certain type.

iCPALMS Tools and Services
Last but not least, using the following tools and services in iCPALMS enables you to find and use these Resource Resource:
- recommended Resource: iCPALMS recommends Resource to users and using different delivery mechanisms (email, list on the website, RSS feed, Widget builder, etc.
- Visualizer app: fnd the standard, click on it and the related Resource will appear on the right.
- My Resource app: search and find Resource from within the app, submit new Resource. This app also recommends Resource based on the user's settings
- My Planner(CMAP): Resource are shown for related standard while the user is developing a curriculum map.
- Lesson Study Support System: exemplar instructional Resource are offered in the lesson study team through the lesson study cycle.
