Original Student Tutorials Mathematics - Grades 6-8
This is a collection of original student tutorials for Mathematics in grade band 6-8.
CPALMS Original student tutorials are designed to be an addition to a teacher’s lesson that deliberately integrates multiple Math benchmarks. While a specific Florida’s B.E.S.T. Mathematics Benchmark is the focus for a tutorial, tutorials should not stand alone as the sole focus for instruction but should be combined purposefully with other connecting benchmarks and activities. Additionally, even though student tutorials may show a style or technique on how to solve a mathematics problem, there may be many other ways that the problem can be solved. Students are encouraged to learn multiple ways to solve problems and use the proper techniques that work best for them.
