In this module, teachers will study one standard from the operations and algebra domain, review research on student thinking related to this standard, study a task designed to elicit evidence of student thinking, study the rubric associated with the task, and view videos of students talking about their thinking.

MFAS Module 4: Implementing MFAS with English Language Learners (ELL) In this module, we will give you tools that will help you implement the MFAS effectively to all your students, regardless of their English language proficiency level. This module is not intended to be a comprehensive training on instruction for ELLs. Rather, it is designed specifically for the MFAS.
