In this lesson, students will manipulate the order of short choreographed movement sequences using a puzzle piece assembly format.

Dance to the Everyday Beat :

Students will record everyday sounds and create a dance to the beat of the everyday sounds (a minimum of three) .  Students will work collaboratively to choreograph and create a dance to the found sounds. 

Charleston:

In this lesson students will compare and contrast different genres of dance with today's dance styles. Students will learn the four steps to the Charleston dance and add a complementary move of their choice.
