Lesson Plans
  • Pantomime 101: This is a beginning in the art of pantomime. Students new to theatre often want to use rehearsal time to find or create  an object mentioned in a short scene. This lesson is designed to help students realize they can pantomime those missing objects, walls, doors, and windows and spend their rehearsal time working on character development.

  • Pantomime Scenes: In this lesson, students will tell a meaningful story (showing a complete story arc) without the use of words through pantomime performance using only body language to convey meaning.

  • Creating a Pantomime: The students will pre-assess what they know about creating a story through just movement. Students will brainstorm, create, utilize technology, and rehearse a pantomime which demonstrates appropriate stage movement and collaboration with a partner.
