In this lesson, students will demonstrate knowledge of Place Value to round whole numbers to the nearest 10 and 100 using the following strategies: Number line, number strip, Counting on and back. Students will be given three problems to demonstrate the relationship of nearness on a number line in three of the four strategies learned to round whole number to the nearest 10 or 100.
